Classic

DSG

Direct-Shift Gearboxes are used in many of today’s high-performance models. They use a specific, highly technical form of semi-automatic gearbox technology – and at Brands Hatch Automatics, we have the requisite level of skill to repair them. A DSG changes gears for you electronically, and one benefit is that they are more efficient than conventional automatic gearboxes. SMG

A Sequential Manual Gearbox is capable of functioning as both an automatic and a manual transmission. It can be operated either by a traditional stick or by paddle shifters attached to the steering column. SMGs are particularly associated with BMW models – and our highly-trained team includes specialists with long experience in repairing and reconditioning such gearboxes.
