To complement the expertise displayed in every member of our highly trained team, Brands Hatch Automatics uses the very latest in diagnostic technology to ensure the right solution for your car. The first basic code readers were brought in house in the 1980s – and these machines are still in perfect working order should you need them.

However, in the years since we have added several new generations of diagnostic technology. We now use the same technology as main dealers possess for identifying issues with automatic gearboxes. Our technology now includes equipment that can diagnose issues with Renault, Audi, Peugeot, Citroen, BMW, Mercedes, Porsche, Ford, Volvo models and many, many more.

New technology is always welcome at our workshop, for the simple reason that it ensures the high standards of service for which we have become renowned can be maintained and enhanced.

Have an Extended Warranty?

If you have an extended warranty we are recommended repairers for most insurers including AA, RAC, Motorway Direct and WMS.
In most cases, we can deal with your claim in full without you having to wait for them to reimburse you. Loan cars also available (on a first come first served basis).
Unlike other garages, we like to take special care of our customers. We’ll do all we can to ensure you are not left without whilst your car goes into the garage for repair.

Recovery Service & Courtesy Car

Our gearbox services include electronic fault finding and ECU testing and re-configuring. Automatic transmissions are highly specialised, therefore we are happy to negotiate with mechanical insurance warranty companies on behalf of our customers.
